Qualified Employees

The digital health industry is dependant on qualified employees to develop, offer and implement quality products in a dynamic yet sensitive market.

DMEA is engaged in connecting the Health IT industry and healthcare institutions with potential employees. This ties in with the activities of the host, the German Association of Healthcare IT Vendors (bvitg), commited to the career and promotion of young talents in Healthcare IT throughout the year.

The Newcomer Award is aimed at students in the final stages of their studies. The young scientists can submit their thesis dealing with health information technology and thus apply for one of the Newcomer Award. All works will be judged by an expert jury.

Time limit is expired.

The Guide for Talents will be sent to registered students a few weeks before the DMEA. It contains all the essential information about DMEA exhibitors interested in being contacted by young professionals. (Only available in German).

The Job Exchange is the first contact point for visitors who want to learn about career and job opportunities in the industry. The job postings of the exhibiting companies will be posted at all three days and will be visible on the DMEA website.

The job exchange form can be found in our BECO online shop

An overview of the vacancies of our exhibitors can be found in the Virtual Market Place.

Representatives from Health IT businesses are available for 5-minute-conversations for anyone interested. Furthermore, there will be enough time for additional discussions after the event. There is no fixed order in speed networking, every participant chooses their preferred partner.

Exhibitors and hospitals can register here using the form until 29 March 2019.

Colour Thermometer: Showing Temperature in Colours

In this workshop we can learn how any other coloured light can be mixed from the three primary colours, without getting our hands dirty, and using a single LED. And you can also learn to use an electronic sensor to register the temperature, so you can recreate the electronics to be found in your tap. Your own program is then used to control the mixing of light, irrespective of the actual readings.

The offer is aimed at pupils in 10th to 13th grade and is free of charge.

Here you can find the workshop in our program.
