The slogan of the Congress is ‘10 years of conhIT – connecting Health with innovative IT‘. Look forward to an outstanding and wide-ranging programme which has been put together by representatives of the main target audiences and takes the industry’s information and advanced training requirements into account.
The conhIT Advisory Board is responsible for deciding on the programme of events and its members represent science, politics, users, the industry and health insurances.
One of session that will take place on 25 April 2017 (Session 2, 9:30 a.m.) is ‘The Value of Robotics and the Internet of Things for Hospital IT’
“Taking giant leaps forward“ is how patients describe training with a neuronally controlled robot suit which is used mainly for rehabilitating paraplegics, and increasingly for working with stroke patients too.
Work involving the HAL Robot Suit is part of the neuromuscular feedback therapy that will be presented at a Congress session on robotics on day one at conhIT - Connecting Healthcare IT in Berlin. This therapy is a typical example of developments in this sector as they approach ‘Clinic 4.0', which interconnects robotics, medical IT and clinical expertise.
Neuromuscular feedback therapy is only one example of the innovative topics being presented at the 18 sessions at the conhIT Congress in Berlin. In addition to asking questions such as ‘What can the Health industry learn from Industry 4.0?“ the programme also includes topics such as IT security, big data and patient empowerment.
